LIMBOO TRADITIONAL DANCE TRAINING

SIKKIM AKADEMI & SUKHIOM YAKTHUNG SAPSOK SONGJUMBHO (Sikkim Limboo Literary Society) Jointly organized a Seven day long Limboo Traditional Dances Training like : 

  1. TAMRANGEY      (ii)   KENGJORI             (iii)   SIRDHAPPEY    (iv)  KUSARAKPA  (v) KHOIE KHOIE  at Limboo Bhawan, DPH Road, Gangtok. The program was inaugurated on 21.10.2021 and was valedictory on 27.10.2021.

The following persons were present as Chief Guest and Guests of Honour on the day of Valedictory function:

Chief Guest               :             Shri Samdup Lepcha, Minister of Road Bridges & Culture,

Guest of Honour      :             (a)  Shri Bhimhang Limboo, Minister of Water Resources &

                                                          PHE and Irrigation.

                                                  (b)   Shri Indrahang Limboo, MP, (Lok Sabha)

There were 04 (four) trainers headed by Mr. B.B. Limboo, Jt. Director in the Department of Horticulture and 24 (twenty four) trainees in the program.
