Form 27th May to 31st May, 2025 : A five day National Workshop on Library (KOHA) was organized by Sikkim Akademi. The inaugural ceremony was held in a Hotel (Days Inn) at Gairigaun, Tadong. The occasion was graced by Smt. Rajkumari, Deputy Speaker, of SLA as Chief Guest.
The G.T. Dhungel, Minister for Health &Family Welfare and Culture Department also attended the function for a short while in the second session.
The Workshop was attended by the librarians of carious schools, colleges and University of Sikkim as participants. Similarly participants from other states like Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, UP, MP, etc. attended the Workshop .
The three days workshop was conducted at Techie Panda near Greendale School, Tadong.
