Akademi Library was formally inaugurated in the premises of Sikkim Akademi on 5th floor, Manan Bhawan, Gangtok. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri K.N. Lepcha, Hon’ble Minister, Education Department, Government of Sikkim. Among others Shri G.S. Lama (Padmashree) former President of Sikkim Akademi, Shri D.T. Lepcha, President, Shova Kanti Thegim Memorial Trust, Shri Kriran Rasaily, Ex-Secretary, Shri Pratap Pradhan, Ex- Secretary, Shri C.L Ghimeray, President, Channel AC, Dr. Pushpa Sharma, Professor, Sikkim University and other officers of Culture Department was also present.
